# Altrex improves customer service with Magento and Infor LN integration

Altrex, known for innovative climbing solutions such as ladders and scaffolding, was looking for a way to serve customers faster and better when ordering replacement parts. With support from Epartment and Conneqt, a parts webshop was developed with smart integrations to the ERP system, raising both the customer experience and internal efficiency to a higher level.

### **The challenge: Making inventory and order processing smarter**

Altrex wanted to provide customers with immediate insight into the availability of parts and process orders faster. Previously, it required a lot of manual work to transfer orders from the webshop to the ERP system (Infor LN) and to make current stock visible. This process was error-prone and hindered Altrex's growth ambitions in terms of service delivery.

### **The solution: Integration between Infor LN and Magento**

In collaboration with digital agency **Epartment**, Altrex built a new parts webshop in **Magento**. Conneqt provided the crucial [integration between Magento and Infor LN](../koppeling/infor-magento). Through a smart connection, orders are now automatically processed in the ERP according to **EDI message standards**, and the inventory in Magento is updated in real-time from Infor LN. This eliminates manual work, speeds up the order process, and gives users immediate visibility of current stock statuses.

### **The impact: Higher delivery reliability and faster service**

The automated connection has noticeably improved Altrex's service. Customers can now see the current stock status in the webshop and know exactly when parts can be delivered – often even on the same day! Thanks to the direct order processing in Infor LN, the delivery process now seamlessly aligns with the regular logistics flow, without extra steps.
